Founded in 2009 by Icelander Petur Olafsson, Nordic Enterprises Ltd. is a small design and technology company based in Hong Kong. Drawing inspiration from our diverse backgrounds and experiences, the creative team focuses on designs that are both distinctive and practical. Of course, we also like to have fun, and we want our products to have a fun feel too.
Our umbrella brand is onanoff, its name a take on the simplest, most essential feature of all electronics: the on and off button. We strive to make products that are simple and quickly become essential to your daily life.
About Petur
Born and raised in Iceland, Petur's love of design and gadgets were fostered by his sculptor mother and electrician father, and he's been lucky enough to combine both loves into his own company. Outside of work, he's an avid runner, cyclist, foodie and beer snob. Petur holds an EMBA from Richard Ivey School of Business.
